In case you can't tell, that's an old guy bending over. LOL |
And since it was so dark out, I knew he wouldn't be able to see out his windows, anyway. So I decided to hang around and watch, to see what he was up to.
Smile. You're on camera. |
Turns out he was painting that room. He had no clue I was standing right in front of him, watching. That's why I like walking at night. If it's super dark out and somebody's got the lights on inside you can stand right outside their window and they can't see past the reflection.
So I just stood there watching him for a while, listening to his music.
Normally I watch when windows are shut, because the glare is protection. Tonight was kinda risky, since he had the windows wide open, he might have seen me through the lower screen if he happened to look up while bending over.
But he was in his own little world, completely unaware.
I thought about how people say you can tell when you are being watched. That's definitely not true. Nobody in the neighborhood ever acts any different when I'm watching them.
then i started to think about all the ways I could surprise this dude. Obviously I wouldn't do it, but imagine trying to scare him. Or trying to get into his house... How would he defend himself? with a paint roller? LOL
Then after some time, just when I started to get bored with just watching, I heard him yell out to his wife, "Hey Ruby, are ya gonna help or what?"
I heard her yell something back, but she was farther in the house, and her voice didn't carry enough for me to understand....
He understood though and evidently he didn't like what he heard, because this happened:
Too bad I didn't just record a video. He was yelling at her, and it was good for a laugh. Something like, "Hey ya stupid bitch, I shoulda known you were too damn lazy to get off your ass and help!"
Pretty amusing to see somebody go from zero to one hundred so fast.
Well she yelled back, and now that the door was open, I could hear her just fine, "Fuck you Frank, I'm not going to lift a finger to help you paint- not when you just sat on your fat ass all day watching netflix. Where were you when I was cleaning the kitchen, and doing the laundry you fuck?" This might not be a direct quote but you get the idea. Her voice rose to a hilariously high pitch when she finished "you FUCK?"
This is the kind of thing I love to see on my walks. These particular neighbors almost never disappoint. They don't seem to realize how transparent their windows are- I've seen them rage and I've seen them fuck... And they don't look good in either case, but its always good for a laugh to pass the time.
And they aren't the only ones who act inhuman when they think they are alone... Privacy is such a strange thing, when people think they have it they lower all their pretenses and let their inner animal show.
Anyway, he didn't respond right away to her, but he was visibly angry- bristly like a porcupine. He just yelled back, "FUCK YOU!" and slammed the door.
He also flicked her off through the door, but I wasn't fast enough to get that photo...
Anyway, I watched him angrily paint for a while longer, then I walked home.
I wonder if he'll go outside tomorrow. If he does, he'll probably see my footprints and wonder who made them. I wonder how he'll feel when it finally dawns on him that somebody was watching him the entire time...
Will he feel scared?
I think later tonight, in a couple hours I'll go for another walk, just to see if his windows or still open- or if he was smart enough to lock them.
Obviously, I'm not going to do anything even if they are wide open. But its just fun to think about the possibilities.
Oblivious |

Dude, what the fuck?
ReplyDeleteYou know I'll always find a way to tear your idiotic posts, but this time I'm... At a loss for words.

DeleteLOL did you seriously take 2 months to think of that. BRO, you are retarded.
ReplyDeletefuck you, go diw
DeleteWow, this is straight up serial killer behavior. You might need help, genuinely
ReplyDeleteare you just one of those butt hurt redditors? Hi, welcome.
DeleteI hope you're comfortable here, in your anonymity.
Hahaha I wish I could walk around to see neighbors, but the way my neighborhood is I cant, I can only use my binoculars I use while on hikes to look around. Its kind of fun, but not the same as being there.
ReplyDeleteHey Valrii! When you get the NVBs it will be even better though! I might look into buying some myself. But I like to be up close, so I can hear too.
DeleteHoly shit. You still do this? Did you wet the bed as a child? Torture animals? Diagnosed with Asperger's?
ReplyDeleteDo what now?
DeleteGet help! See a therapist maybe.
